Summary of career/studies:

I graduated at University of Palermo in biological sciences and then I got my master degree in functional genomics at University of Trieste. During my master thesis I worked in the structural biology lab at Sincrotrone in Trieste and I focused my job on the production of a bacterial helicase and its structural and biochemical characterization. 

Why JuMBO PhD?

I decided to continue the work that I started during my master thesis because I'm fascinated by the structural biology field and the JUMBO program provides a good opportunity to improve my knowledge in different fields of molecular biology.
