Summary of career/studies

I have obtained my Bachelor Degree in Biotechnology at University of Palermo and then at University of Trieste I have obtained my Master Degree in Biotechnology and Molecular Medicine.

During my Master degree traineeship at Molecular Hematology Lab, ICGEB, Trieste, I acquired interest for the research field of cancer and the molecular mechanisms which are behind this disease. Now, I am interested in the role of B-cell receptor signalling and Tool-like receptor pathway in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL) with the final aim of developing new strategies to target these pathways which play a key role in CLL.
