JuMBO PhD thesis supervisor: Prof. Michele Morgante University of Udine
Summary of career/studies
I obtained the bachelor degree in Biotechnology for Agricoltural Science in 2013 at the University of Padova, than I attended the master in Plant Biotechnolgy at the University of Torino where I graduated in April 2017 with a master thesis on the transcriptomic profile of grapevine rootstock in the presence of beneficial microbes.
Meanwhile, I completed my study at Scuola di Studi Superiori dell'Università di Torino "Ferdinando Rossi". The study program was entitled "Government and Natural Science" and I discussed my final thesis in December 2017.
During the master I focused my attention on the informatic tools used in plant biology and working with prof. Morgante's group at Istituto di Genomica Applicata (Udine) I had the opportunity to learn how to use them in this field of biological science.
Why JuMBO PhD?
I chose to continue my academic path and I decided to focus me on bioinformatics, so I applied to the Jumbo PhD program.
